Dr. Stacey Laird
Dr. Laird is heavily invested in the mental and emotional wellbeing of our community and encompasses evidence based practice approaches to treat her patient’s psychiatric needs. At Dr. Laird’s office, she sees child, adolescent, and adult patients. Dr. laird offers comprehensive diagnostic assessments and evidence-based interventions designed to improve functioning and quality of life. She provides individualized treatment plans while also coordinating her patient’s care with primary care providers, specialty physicians, other mental health practitioners, and school personnel as needed.
Dr. Laird specializes in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Child & Adolescent Psychiatry is a subspecialty of Psychiatry with additional skills and training in the diagnosis and treatment of developmental, behavioral, emotional, and mental health disorders of childhood and adolescence.
Dr. Laird is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Dr. Laird completed her Adult Psychiatry training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine-Elmhurst Hospital Center in New York. She went on to complete her fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. While at Baylor College of Medicine, she was elected to be Chief Fellow. Dr. Laird is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in both Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Dr. Laird provides psychiatric services in a comfortable setting housed in the heart of Prairie Village, Kansas.
